Google PageRank Update – TechSpacia is now PR2

Dear Friends/TechSpacia Blog Readers,
Happy to tell you that when I opened my mail box today, I saw an email from Atish Ranjan, TechTricksWorld Fame. Here is what he was saying:-
Hurray!!! I am sitting on a Google PR 2 blog now. Many thanks to all the readers of this blog, fellow bloggers who helped me to understand basics of blogging and everyone who are a part of this blog in a way or other.
I started this blog on 15th August 2011 and this blog is yet to enter in its 4th month. During this period, I went on leave twice and was away for 1 month from blogging activities. Effectively I have just spent two months here. That too with poor consistency.
I was really not expecting any page rank for me this time and am considering myself a newbie in this space. However when I knew this morning that I am on PR2, it made me really happy. 
As it is just a page rank and miles to go, I will not behave as if I have received Nobel Prize in blogging. I will keep it simple and short.

Yes, I noticed it yesterday!, Even my PR is increased by +1, now I have PR 3
. Ritesh, I think you must increase your posts regularity. I’m sure that, if you would have produced more contents in last few weeks now you would be sitting in PR3 or higher.
Since Google’s new panda update on Oct 13-16 I’m losing traffic. Now I’m working on removing old crappy contents from my blog and updating rest! I produced lot of crappy contents earlier stages because I dint know about SEO and Google ranking things

How many ways are there to get good page rank and search engine rank ? Please give me some valuable and worth full suggestions.
For Getting Good page rank. Do these:-
1. Post unique and killer content to your blog.
2. Maintain the consistency.
3. build links slowly. don’t go fast in building link.
4. Try to focus more on new things and ideas for posts.
5. Try to do off page optimization such as directory, rss, bookmarking etc. But Do Don’t do too much. I am again telling you , Go slow in building Links.
6. Build links only on nice sites, Don’t try to get links from spammy sites.
